Is the pay for Communications Officer position negotiable? It seems pretty low. How do you determine what your shift would be? Does the shift change every quarter? Will you need to bid for your shift? I have obligations on Saturdays with my kids sporting activities, I would like to know what are the chances of me being able to have the day available. Other than that, I can work any shift. Just need to know if this job will work with my personal life schedule.

No. We bid by seniority so you would need to be able to work any shift; especially in the beginning because you will be working varying shifts depending on your trainers. It would be best to stop attending school for the period you would be training and then bid a shift that would accommodate your school schedule. However, we can’t guarantee you a shift that would work and we can’t make special arrangements for you.

No. That would not be a problem. As long as you have educational documentation, a clean criminal history and can work shift work, you would be eligible to come in and apply.
